1. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the Account page in the app. Cancelling stops all future charges. If you subscribed on the Nouvelou website and cannot get into the app, email hello@nouvelou.com from the address on your account and we will cancel your website subscription for you.
2. Access after you cancel
Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. It is not renewed after that. Nothing is charged at the end of a cancelled period.
3. The Starter plan
The 1-Week Starter is $4.99 for the first week. Unless you cancel before that week ends, it continues automatically on the 4-week plan at $39.99 every 4 weeks. Cancelling during the first week means you pay $4.99 and nothing more.
4. Refunds
Charges are non-refundable except where the law gives you a right to a refund. We do not refund part of a period you have started, and we do not refund a renewal because you forgot to cancel before it. Cancel first, and the current period runs out on its own.
5. Charges made in error
If you believe you were charged in error, for example twice for the same period or after you cancelled, email hello@nouvelou.com within 14 days of the charge. Tell us the email address on your account and the date and amount of the charge. We look into every case and reply within a few business days.
6. Where the law gives you more
Consumer law in your country may give you refund rights beyond this policy, including a right to withdraw within 14 days of buying a digital service. Where such a right applies to you, we honour it. Nothing here limits it.
7. If we end the Service
If we discontinue Nouvelou entirely, we refund any prepaid period you cannot use. If we end your access for a breach that is not yours, we refund any unused prepaid period.
8. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe. Once we issue a refund it usually appears on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
9. Deleting your account
Deleting your account cancels a website subscription immediately, and access ends with the deletion. It does not cancel an Apple or Google Play subscription; cancel those in your store subscription settings. The refund rules above still apply.
